We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including in home care, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support and IADL'S.
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any abnormalities promptly
- Support medication reminder following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness by assisting with light housekeeping tasks and ensuring a hygienic environment
- Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and responses to care plans for accurate reporting to healthcare teams
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
- CPR and First Aid certification to respond effectively in emergencies
- Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and use of assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or Sit to stand lift
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with transfers or mobility support
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and family members while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Compassionate approach to caring for seniors and individuals requiring hospice or palliative care support
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments like group homes or in home care settings

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
